I love it, Kayla! LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I sure wish we'd see more pretty things like that in the stores! Very feminine, very fresh, very pretty. (I have GOT to re-learn how to sew!) Love your hat, too! AND oh! the woods and the stream! Those are SUCH beautiful pics, sister! Thank you for sharing! Hugs - Nini

Such wonderful farmgirl fashion! I would love to add that a Ivory colored apron would be so becoming with it.

Very cute! You are such a wizard with a sewing machine. And I'm with Emily...an ivory colored apron would be great!!

Aw, thank y'all so much! I do love the trim...I think it added a little something special. I have enough of the same fabric for another dress, but I haven't decided what I want to do yet. I was thinking maybe a sleeveless dress and then knitting a linen cardigan to wear over it. I'm not much on sleeveless myself. I don't know if you can tell in the pictures, but the flowers on the dress are almost bright pink, so I thought a cardigan that color would be nice. Or maybe I'll make a skirt out of the fabric...that way I could wear the same cardigan over a tank top with the skirt. I don't know...I have too many ideas and not enough time!
I also have 10 yards of blue plaid homespun...I'm thinking about making the same dress with that, too. Again...never enough time!!! I usally do skirts/shirts as opposed to full dresses, so I'm trying to shake that up a bit.
Thanks again for all the wonderful kind comments!!!

I love your new dress and agree that an apron would compliment it beautifully! I have fabric waiting for me to turn into a dress. I'm the same way. Haven't made a dress for myself in forever! I need to mix it up too!

Love it!! Great job. Really like the fabric, too, the lace is a nice touch. Great pictures. You look beautiful. What pattern is it, if you don't mind me asking?

Love your dress, it looks lovely on you! I would like to sew myself a few new summer dresses. I'd rather wear them than slacks.

You have motivated me to make a few spring/summer dresses. I went to the fabric store this weekend and will try getting them made in the next few weeks. Thanks for sharing your pictures, the dress is great.
