Spring always makes me wish for the "green" smells. The smell of fresh cut lawn which has lemon mint growing into it. Clothes that have dried on the line . . . don't know what scent that is, but if you could capture it, it would be popular with a lot of my friends! Rain-fresh anything.
If you mean, single note, I crave the clean of lemon, the fresh of peach, a very light rose and always lavendar.
Hope that helps. It sure made me ready for fresh air and sunshine on a more regular basis!

I'm with Marianne. Spring makes me think of clean, which seems funny to say when you're talking about soap, because soap *is* clean. But spring makes me think of finally getting to open the windows and air everything out. So fresh air, line dried laundry, things like that. :)

I make fruity ones in spring, too. Last week I made blackberry and mandarin orange. I also have a fresh linen fragrance oil, and make one I call Country Clothesline. Recently I experimented with lavender EO, peppermint EO, and ho wood EO, equal parts, and it's lovely. I add orris root as a fixative when using essential oils, to help keep the fragrance longer.

I have added three more additions to my soap stock this week using essential oils, herbs from my garden and some chamomile I had on hand...
Lemongrass EO with Hemp oil Chamomile with just a smidge of Rosemary EO Eucalyptus EO/Citrus EO with Lemon Thyme............The scents are light, fresh, clean and GREEN.
Thank you for all of the wonderful ideas girls!
