I've invested heavily in satellite internet for my home. I'm unable to blog, e-mail, or even access this chat from my dial-up. So, before they install, do any of you have experience or words of wisdom to share? I'm excited, but nervous too. Thanks!

Got it love just make sure your dish is some where where you can clean it off. I just knocked off 6 inches of snow. Weather will effect it but not much. And watch the download amounts mine has a maxium and then it slows it self down for 24 hours. Some even charge for extra.

You're going to LOVE it! We went from a dial up to satellite.

My suggestion: Don't let any tree branches grow out to the dish, that will interfere.

Our first one was close to the eave of the house.

Now it's smack on top and high. I guess we're pretty modern around here!
