Took my cat Baxter to the vets this morning for a infected tooth and it turned out to be cancer a very aggresive kind the vet said he would be dead within the month,so we decided it would be best to put him to sleep now,he was having a hard time eating already,He was 14 years old.and we will dearly miss him.

oh, Penny, that was surely a shock. My grandmother's cat, Matilda, had the same problem--only it was on her tongue. We thought it was a tooth because it was so far back. Poor little Baxter--he was a beautiful, beautiful, boy!!! Sorry about your loss.

I am so sorry for your loss. I now what it is like to morun a cat i had a cat that was my inside cat and i loved him so much. He would sleep with me and cuddle up with me like a baby. And i miss him so much. He died in the summer. I put him out one day and the dogs decided they were gonna kill him. Needless to say my DH dogs went bye bye.
I am ready for the warm weather. Bring it on. I am so tired of bein cooped up in the house!!!!

We lost our Buster to the same thing a couple of years ago. I'm so sorry for your loss.

oh penny! i am so sorry for you and your family. I too have my beloved cats and they are getting up in age. am dreading ever having to do what you did so sending hugs and snuggles...via Blanco and Black Beauty..

So sorry for your loss Penny. Baxter was a beautiful cat and now he is at the Rainbow Bridge. He was loved and had a good life.
