I'm new to this group. I joined last week and have spent so many hours reading, printing, checking out blogs and web sites. I have learned new recipes, looked at pictures of farms, learned about members and their struggles, successes and joys (lightening bugs!). I read about traveling journals which I am starting with a friend, got the courage to order MaryJane's mixes, and am ever more determined to own a small farm some day. All in all, this is the best group I've ever belonged to and I visit several! You guys are awesome! Thanks so much and I am excited about all the things I will continue to learn. From a slightly overwhelmed but very excited Tracy

I agree with you Tracy, this is the best group I've ever belonged to also! I've never "met" so many women who I feel like I have so much in common. And it all started because I picked up the latest issue of MaryJane'sFarm magazine! By the way, I never see lightening bugs here in Washington, but when I've been in Michigan visiting my in-laws they must think I'm nuts the way I just love watching the lightening bugs. Cheryl |

Welcome Tracey! You're absolutely right about this group of women. If I don't check in at least once a day to see what's happening in "Farmgirl Land" I feel like I have missed a conversation with my best friend. We are glad you are here with us!!

HI, Tracy, Welcome to the forum, or better yet to this wonderful group of new friends. I'll echo what everyone else has just said, it is a fun place to meet the best women I am proud to call friends. And like Karin, even I just pop in to read, which I do more of than post, I feel like I've made a connection for the day that I desperately needed. These are my girls, though we've never met, everything that they bring into my life is a blessing in many more ways than they will ever know (but I hope they do now). :o) And I look forward to getting to know you, too. It's great to have you and it looks like you have jumped in with both feet. Have fun!
