Thanks, Violet--that picture of Violet and Daisy is just about the sweetest thing. In true Beagle form, Daisy just sat back and waited patiently for a lick of that sucker, all the while casting those pleading "beagle" eyes at Violet!
The horse is in really good shape. Couldn't beat $50, when a new one is much more and I like them much less. This lil' vintage horse goes with our lil' vintage house :) She's having a blast!

Jonni, Those pictures are so precious, I loved them all. But, that one with the little dog looking so wistfully at the sucker, priceless!!!! Violet will spend a lot of years loving that horse. It is in beautiful condition. I bet you were so excited for her to have it! Let's face it there really is something about little girls and horses, real or otherwise lol! I know I was in love with them when I was little and still get little girl excited when I see one!! Best present ever for her.
Hugs MJ

Mary Jane--Violet and Daisy are absolutely best friends. I think, as Violet grows and is more "aware", she's a little challenged by the size of our other 3 dogs and Daisy, well, she's a true hound--can't get her off the couch, so they snuggle together a lot, and she LOVES snacks and Violet is a 2 year old, often on a hunger strike :) They've hit a nice stride together!
The horse really is in great shape and she says, "up hohsee!" She told it "goodnight" last night and even took a purple stuffed horse toy with her to the Dr. on Monday night. Yep, girls and horses. Because my daddy was a jockey, I grew up around them, but we never owned any. I recall begging about 6 months, trying to talk them into a horse for the backyard. Our backyard seemed SO huge to me!!! My argument was that my dad wouldn't have to cut the grass because the horse would eat it!
