It has been awhile but I have not forgotten you. Now that the dust has settled with the holidays I thought I would give everyone something to Kick Start our creative juices.
So, all you need to do is go to my blog site and under today's posting January 13th you will find the rules along with a descriptions and picture of what will be going to some lucky winner. The ending date is January 20th at midnight MST so don't wait too long to enter.

OH MY - I am so enjoying the wonderful stories of how you all started crocheting and the love that you feel while sharing your experiences. When folks ask me WHY I do what I do - this is why!!
Crafting gives us all a common language for life - a shared love of taking our time and creating something that will be cherished and hold meaning long after we are gone.
I thank you ladies for sharing and PLEASE keep it coming - You have till the 20th so gather up your friends, family and farmgirl sisters and share your comment about crocheting....

Love your blog Grace. I couldn't post on it, but I taught myself to crochet and the first thing I made was a doll blanket which I still have today 38 years later.

Oh Vicky, what a great story and memory - don't worry your name is in the give-a-way. I am so amazed that you still have the blanket. I crocheted clothes for all my Troll's and my Tammy doll but I have no idea where they went when I went to college. I still remember them and it is great that you shared your story with us all.
Also, glad you like my blog - love sharing with folks... Hope you are still crocheting and good luck in the give-a-way

Just a reminder - at 12:00 midnight Mountain Standard Time the give-a-way on my blog will come to a close and the lucky person will be drawn... I am so touched by all the wonderful stories that you have shared and it reminds me that we all have more in common then we think.
It has been my pleasure to share this wonderful book, incredible yarn from my sweet Cashmeres and beads with you and hope you enjoy them when they arrive. Good luck everyone...
P.S. Get ready for another Give-a-way - I am not telling you what it will be yet just keep tuning in for all the details. I will give you a hint - it has nothing to do with fiber but is another one of my addicitions...

I want to thank you all for participating in this simple little give-a-way, but most of all for sharing your wonderfuls stories of how you all became hookers... I love that many of you still have your first projects - WOW, that just blows my mind.
Get ready because this Sunday there will start another give-a-way. I will keep your names in the pot but to increase your chances of winning please stop by and enter again you will have a leg up on all the newbies to the blog.
