I found a crochet pattern, in an older library book, for crocheted hand towels. Do any of you make or use these? Wondering if it would be a good gift idea for next Christmas?

I have been looking for a pattern like this. Can either of you tell me where I might find it?

I found my pattern in a library book, not on-line. I don't have the book here at home, but will post the title later. I think my son scanned the pages for me. I'll check.

The pattern calls for cotton yarn.

I tried to open several towel patterns on this site and they were not found. The pattern I have is for towels abut 16 inches by 30 inches.

I think they'd be a great gift for next year. The retro look is really in right now and, really, who doesn't need dishtowels!

The title of the library book is Granny Crochet Favorites by Jean Leinhauser & Rita Weiss (1989). Here are pictures from the book:

You will need the book for the patterns. Check your library, interloan libraries or friends and family for this book. I think I saw it on amazon also.

I will be giving these patterns a try sometime soon.

{If posting the pictures is not allowed (from the book), please delete}

Here is another pattern book I found. I'm heading over to my library site to see if they have it. Just wanted to share.

Well.....my library doesn't have it. In fact, they don't have a lot of pattern books from leisure art. I guess it will go on my wish list for now.
