I'm only the 2nd Canadian girl here so far, along with Diane from BC. I'm from Lethbridge, Alberta, an hour's drive north of the US border (Montana).

Okinawa Japan here! (hopfully Maine in the next few years though) Am I the only one outside of North America?

Not only do I remember that song (at least I think it was the same one), in 1975 I spent the summer living with the lady who recorded the commercial for Ontario tourism. (My boyfriend's father was dating her.) Her name was Ann Ruckert and she was/is very involved with the jazz scene in New York City.
It was a beautiful little song, very moving....
But I'm from Ohio!
