Hello all!

We recently started a Farmgirl Chapter in SW Montana called Farmgirls of the Great Divide. I would really like to meet and talk to other Farmgirls in Montana. I have not gotten any interest in joining my chapter, but if there are any of you out there that are part of another chapter I would love to meet you and participate in any chapter activities there may be in Montana.

Hi Corie...I'm in Kalispell...looks like you're right in the middle of Alee and Me! Maybe we'll have to have a virtual chapter! :)

Hi Cori I live not to far from Alee in Billings Montana. I will be moving to the Kalispell area in about 2 1/2 years to build my dream home.

Hi Madelynne...make sure you contact me when you're up this way. That goes for ANY farmgirl coming to Kalispell! Wouldn't it be fun to meet?

Hi Corie,
I come up to Stevensville, MT a few times a year to visit my mom... love my time in Big Sky Country.

You all must think I'm snubbing you but I just realized that I wasn't even subscribed to my own thread! ;0) so now I am.

I would LOVE to start a virtual chapter! Do any of you have any ideas of how to do this? Let me know if there is something special we do for that. I'm not sure if we just set it up here or on Facebook too, or a blog? Shoot me some ideas! I'm always looking for gal pals that have the same interests and values!

I have seen a lot of fun things within the forums, where the other girls do fun correspondence with artful letters and fun gifts during holidays. I know I am terrible at actually writing letters and mailing things, but perhaps something like that would be fun. Maybe since we are hopefully approaching spring we can do some sort of seed swop?

Well now that I am subscribed I will get your notices! Lol! If you ever want to get in touch with me you are welcome to call or e-mail me. I believe they are on my information page.

Gotta go work cows TTFN!!!!! ;0)

Montana sure is a big state. But it is nice there are other MJF sisters here even if you all are a ways away.

So did anyone start setting up a henhouse for us Montana gals? I sure will if no one has then we can find each other faster anyway and maybe get some topics going for us to consider. If no one has does anyone have a name they like?

I am just over the hill in Salmon, Idaho. If you get something going it might be fun to do a neighbor chapter project day!

Hi all, I'm a half hour or so West of Missoula. Anyone know of an active chapter around here?

Hello,

Do you know anyone in the Helena area who needs an extra pair of hands on the weekends? I live and work in town (new to this forum). Last year, I signed on as "helping hands" in hopes of lending-a-hand to a local farm or ranch. I would love the opportunity to participate in country life on the weekends ... family meals, cleaning stalls, feeding chickens or goats, et al. I love farm-ranch life. I can cook, possess good organizational skills, the ability to focus, and a team-player spirit. An alternative way to reach me is morningstar56@comcast.net.

Thanks much,

Julie a/k/a cityslicker.

Julie, if you ever make it out this-a-way, you're welcome to hang out with us and the animals :) Hope you find someone more conveniently located, though!!
