No Tina, I have been looking forward to it everyday and so far nothing. I am hoping that it will get here on Monday. With the weather being so bad that may be what is delaying it.

Hey Deb, Yep yours went out two weeks ago also, and I have a picture of it, if you ever

RODONNA!!! Oh my goodness, received the sweetest mail-art from Miss RoDonna today, and I feel so incredibly loved as she express mailed it to get here for Valentine's Day!!! You sure didn't have to do that, Lord knows I am always running late, but it was so very special of you to do it!

Received your lovely card with your photo. I love to see who is writing to me. It's great to put a name with a face. And thank you so much for the dishcloth. Use it to do my dishes! Are you kidding! It's much too pretty. My aunt makes them for me. I use hers. They are plain and utilitarian. I have a little shelf in my living room that I decorate for all of the holidays. I put yours there and now can pull it out every year for my shelf! Thank you. I will try to post a pic tomorrow.

Received your beautiful mail art last week and was finally able to get a photo. Oh Renee, thank you so much. LOVE the hand made paper with embedded herbs and flowers. The art work on that beatutiful paper is amazing. And then, the addition of your wonderful letter really touched me.... what a wonderful person you are.

Oooohhhh, I am so with you on that idea Dianne. Wouldn't that be a great book! We could all contribute pictures of some of our favorite pieces of Mail-Art that we have both done and received. I like it!!! Sounds like a Best Seller to me. What do you think CJ?

| just over six years ago I started this thread. I check in every once and a while and am amazed at how successful the concept has become. I've lived in severel different countries and US states in the past 6 years so I haven't joined in since the beginning. I'm on a full out search for farm land of my own right now and so have pared down my crafts, etc to all fit in my little Honda Fit that I'm driving around (currently in the NW). Once I settle, I'll be sure to check in again and join in. My best to you all! |

Well, I do KNOW that mail delivery is an issue. I had sent a PRIORITY mail envelope (not mail art) to another farmgirl in Illinois. Mailed it on Saturday, February 5th, from SW Colorado. She just received it this past Monday, the 14th.
And, I do know that many areas of our country have had very unusual winter weather that has slowed things down. So, again, patience is prudent.
And, I thank ALL of your for your patience!!!

The idea of a book to showcase all of the creative Farm Girls is a great idea. Oh my.. it would be a very large book.
In the meantime I would like to see how y'all display the art you are receiving. My bulletin board is filling up really quicky and I hate to take anything down.

CJ... I had the same problem with priority mail as well. It should have been her in 2 days.. ended up coming 9 days later ! Won't pay for priority mail for a while ! lol !!
