Lifes not about the breaths you take, but the moments that take your breath away.

Just a small town country girl, farmgirl, loggergirl, trying to live her dreams. :)

P.s. I've been playing around with the spelling of my name ( weird I know) and I've decided that I will stick with Hannah for good. Sorry I got you all confused. Hugs!!

Michigan is having rain this morning. Fortunately our area had already turned to rain before I left for work but north and south of us were littered with car accidents for the morning commute due to freezing rain. Temps today are supposed to be in the 30's - heatwave LOL. Tuesday morning it was 2 degrees with windchill. The weather this year is crazy.

Please take our snow. We got 6" on Christmas day and it's still on the ground. It's getting slippery too. But we are supposed to get rain all day Sat. so it should be all gone by then. I think Mother Nature has it all backwards these days.

It is 53* here and windy no rain yet but it is coming. It is supposed to be 62* here tomorrow and a 90% chance of storms!!!! Storms in Dec??? The last time i remember it being this warm this time of year was in 1989 and it was Jan and i lived in a little town called Allendale, IL and we had a huge tornado that destroyed the whole town. That scared me, i was only 9!!!

I am ready for the warm weather. Bring it on. I am so tired of bein cooped up in the house!!!!

Here in Colo. Springs we are having the first serious snow of the season. It started about 1:10 and now at 4:20 we already have about 4 inches on the ground. Just went out to feed the chickens and they were very glad to have the corn spread inside their house instead of out in the snow!

After a record low temperatures in December (coldest December since 1895) we are supposed to have 54 and rain tomorrow all day here in the Chicagoland area! The new year will see us back to 24 and sunshine. I am hoping for a mild winter, but not holding my breath.

Now we are flooding here. I have ponds and creeks all over my property. I had to wade through a foot of water to get to my goat barn. Then had to milk them out there. What fun. It's still raining. It thundered and flashed all night and still is. But at least it ain't snow. And we sure need this rain. We are still under 13" in this area. So this will help alot.

We are sure having lots of strange weather. And I have no heat on right now.

It's supposed to be warm enough this week to have rain towards the end of it. Totally weird.

We had 10" of snow last weekend for Christmas - my first White Christmas! The first in more than 100 years in GA. We loved it, but were stuck up here for 3 days before we could get down. Now it is in the 50s and raining - buckets and more! Our trees had a major windstorm last night, the ground is wet and we are praying for no more fall-downs. It is ok if it rains - time to take down the Christmas decor and get the house straightened out....
