Coming in January 2011 are my retro nostalga new year resolution journals. The covers will be in a farm girl theme vintage style from covers of different kinds.

A vintage french country line as well. They will include my new signature charm bracelets. So you get two gifts that are one-of-a-kind handmade by me.

Visit my jeanpatch shop on etsy below to see the first journal for the cook lover.

Now taking orders so get in line so you get yours in time for the new year!!!!

Tell me who your favorite tv Mother figure was. I'll be using the ideas for my journal covers.

I came up with Aunt Bee from Andy Griffith show!

First of all, Merry Christmas to one and all! We're still waiting for my kids to get up......

My fav tv Momma is Michael Learned of the Walton's. Always so kind hearted and gentle, and a good 'Momma' head on her shoulder. Second place would be Aunt Bee. I still emulate her "AndYYYY!"

Will head off to see the cover on your Etsy.

Her name escaped me then finally I remembered Olivia. Thank you, I knew I'd watched a family show when I was growing up but could only think of Andy Griffith.

I'll do some with Aunt Bee and some with Waltons theme.

If you remember anymore please list them. I was thinking of June Cleaver on Leave it to Beaver and the Ozzie and Harriet show. But, never watched that one the later one was before my time.

Donna Reed was the perfect suburban mother. But Olivia Walton was probably more Farmgirl. (Then again, Donna Reed was from Iowa, so maybe not....)

Thank you for your interest Melody! I am using vintage paper ephemera to use on the front of my journals. Right now I have many with a garden theme from vintage seed packets and can labels I'll be using.

Then, as soon as I can find the vintage tv show posters I'm going to use those on my journals as well. You can special order the theme you'd like me to use. I'll embellish them with other vintage finds that I have on hand. i.e. buttons, jewelry pieces etc...

I've started with retro family recipe journals and embellished with a vintage cross stitch piece I did that is in my etsy shop now.
