Yes, I've never had a real tree before, so I decided to get one, and they were clearing the trees off the lot so it was free! It's beautiful--a Scotch pine. And it smells so wonderful. I have it all decorated (while I listened to Christmas music). I put a tree skirt around it that I got for $1.50 at a church rummage sale last year. I had to buy a stand but it was only $7.50. Now I'm starting to get in the Christmas spirit. So even if we get that snowstorm on Christmas eve that they're predicting, I'll be in a festive mood. Now I have a strange craving for egg nog....

Enjoy your tree. Did you cut off the bottom so it can soak up water? If you keep it watered it will last safely longer.
We have had years with a fake tree and the real ones are so much better. Enjoy!
