Just moving the discussion back up to being active since there are still some of us that haven't received our aprons yet or heard from our swap partner. Kathy |

OK. I guess we're done with Daizy. Linda/quiltee said that she can send another apron, so Linda, will you please get in touch with Kathy/nut4fabric? Pilar said that she could send another one, too, so Pilar will you please contact Patricia/Pnickols who was also Daizy's partner?
Thanks to Susan, Linda and Pilar for stepping forward to insure that all the farmgirl sisters get an apron. That's true Farmgirl spirit at work.
Has anyone else NOT received an apron or been in touch with their partner about being late?
Have a great week-end everyone!!

Hi, Pilar! On page 2 of the string, close to the top is her original response. If you click on her name in the box on the right, it will attach you to her email address and you can type a message to her there. Thanks again for stepping up like this.
Want to say thanks to Susan/OneHippyChick for my lovely lacey apron. I don't have one with this much lace. The soap smells really good and I love the card. What a wonderful surprise it was for me at the end of the week like this! Thanks again for your thoughtfulness.

I've sent an email to Kathy and will make and send an apron as soon as I hear from her. I am visiting my cousin in California, but may be able to make it before I get back to Texas.

I hope we do this again, despite the little hiccups. It really shows "pay it forward" in action!! I had 2 partners, one official and one volunteer...I couldn't have had any nicer, better sisters to do this with for the first time. I received beautiful aprons and hopefully long friendships. I would love to do this on a quarterly basis(Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter themes) as one can never have too many aprons...IMHO!!! Take care girls and if each of us "pays it forward" to just one person, each and every day, what a change we can make!!
Please Lord, give me patience....and give it to me NOW!!! Farmgirl #2116 |

I hope we can do the apron swap again despite the complications that have happened. This was my first time doing a swap as I am a fairly new member. I have had so much fun and have enjoyed making the apron. I am involved in another swap and I know how disappointing it is not to receive anything from your partner. I am patient though and still waiting.

Thought I posted here, guess I didn't. I received my package on Friday - what a nice surprise at the end of a busy week. I got a lacy springy apron from Susan and a wonderful bar of homemade soap. Thank you so much Susan and I'm glad that you're doing better.

It's too bad that some people don't fulfill their commitments. Please don't let this sour you on swaps. They are a great way to meet people.

Sorry it took so long to post this picture. Isn't this a darling apron that Sue Feely made for me! I love the wreath and cozy, too! This swap was so fun and like the others, I hope we do this again.

Thank you Jonnie! I'm just sorry it took me so long to get it to you. Between the rounds of the flu bug and now my home situation, it's turning out to be one heck of a year so far! Time for lemonade! haha!

Posting a picture of the sweet apron that Susan Harmon sent to me along with the cute "kitchen britches" that she had to tell me were dishcloths. Love it!
Thank you again Susan!
Hopefully the picture will work. Kaye

Debi,
I just wanted to thank you for my fantastic apron and the book you included. Both will definitely be put to good use :) I apologize its taken me so long, but as I mentioned in my email, I was scheduled to be away for work and unfortunately the trip lasted a few weeks longer than anticipated.
Thanks again, Erin |
