I received my list today and it is all jumbled...but tomorrow I will futz around with it using CJs advice. If I have serious problems, I will whine about it then. But for now, I have my list and I have a bunch of valentines made and I am super excited for this swap! Thanks so much, Junebug!

Hope everyone gets their card as the addresses are all mixed together, po boxes and streets and zips. May have to check previous mailings, don't want to waste stamps. Jill Lillian, |

Thank you girls for helping out, much apprecaited! If anyone is getting the list all messed up, please follow CJ's tip and change the format to landscape, that should correct the problem, if for some reason you still havent' gotten the list, I'll work on sending it out again to those who haven't, it will be this afternoon. I'll also try to change my format on the master list to see if that helps!

Hi Sue,
I am a bit confused. "Praying Granny" Linda said that she will not be at the address that she thought she would be and that her name should be crossed off of the list. There are 3 Linda's on the mailing list and I do not know which is her. I would still send her a card...no problem, but if she is not going to be there, I wouild not want to burden anyone at that address with forwarding her mail.
Sooo, which Linda is "Praying Granny"? The one in California, or North Dakota or Texas?
Thanks for all of your work and time for this fun project. I have all of my cards finished, addressed and soon to be in the mail and want to be sure that they are all addressed correctly.
Joan

Sue, I don't have the box number for Allison in Beatty, NV either . . .I think it's just missing. Looks like we all may need that. I found her and sent her an email as well.
THANKS! CJ P.S. I don't mind helping out . . . I know how it can be . . :)

Poor Sue.....nothing but problems with the addie list! I think it is all figured out now, though.....but I thought I'd just list all the alterations so all are on the same post. Besides going into landscape mode to see the addresses properly, there have been other changes posted here by members. They are:
1. Allison H.'s PO box is 396 2. Linda S. in CA requested to drop out 3. Kristy T. lives in "Melvern" 4. Moonshines is Lorrae Moon 5. Sandi S. lives on "Hirschi" Rd.
Those are all the corrections I have listed after going through all the posts :)

Now, that were all busy making cards and getting creative, keep in mind a couple of things I learned the first year. If you use red ink on your envelope, it will take longer to reach it's new home, for some odd postal reason? Second, make sure your card/envelope isn't too small. I had a bunch come back to me the first year because I made them too small and I had to re-do them so to be safe, nothing smaller than 3 1/2 by 5 inches according to postal regulations. Have fun and get creative, think pink!!

Also if you have any additions that bump out of the envelope just add another 44cent stamp---otherwise the post office may tear it or send it back. MB

Sue - I had to laugh...I have both red and purple on my envelopes. I had to match their LOVE stamp, didn't I? Of course I did. It looks as though I'd better send out my cards very early! Have a great day... Sandi |

Too echo MaryBeth . . . "lumpy" cards DO require extra postage! AND, I suggest using a couple thicknesses of paper or piece of cardstock to "cushion" the lumps.
I have received numerous cards and mail art pieces that had lumps that were not cushioned and envelopes were torn in those areas, some things damaged. Have heard others who say envelopes and what was inside was torn to pieces.
