Last year my sisters and I exchanged 5 gifts each from the Dollar Store ~ we had some laughs and some neat ideas and did not spend much money.
This year we have decided to make it a little more challenging and are following the same idea ~ 5 items up to $1.00 each BUT they must start with the persons initals. For example: Bob ~ bungee cords, Linda ~ lighter, Debi ~ dishtowel.
So, for you more creative ones, here are the initals I need ~ any suggesions?
Female, A, D, R, L, S, B, N,
Male, B, T, C, S, B, N
Any suggestions would be appreciated. (They do not need to come from the $1 Store, but must not cost more than $1)

Female...Apron, dishcloth, rubber jar opener, lint roller, spoon, bunwarmer, nylon dish scrubber
Male...baseball, "T"'s for golf or Tea to drink, carwash coupon, sox, brownies, nutterbutter cookies!
I LOVE this!! Way FUN!! Hope you do find things that will work for your family! :-)

D dish mop, plastic kiddie ring shaped like a diamond
R Big Red gum? root beer barrels candy
L lilac scented sachet, or notecards with a lilac pattern
S soap
B bluebird ornament
N needles, ornament of a bird in a nest
Male
B bubble gum
T toenail clipper
C coffee mug, calendar
S soap
B bubble blowing liquid
N newspaper
I think I'll try this for some stocking stuffers, it's fun!

A - apple corer,antiperspirant, ant farm, ankle bracelet, address book
D- dominos, date book, dates,
L- lemon zester, lollipops,
R- ring, rubber bands, ribbons, raspberry pie filling,
S- scrubbie, sun catcher, socks, sewing kit, strainer, spoons

For male:
B - black and decker tools,
T - tie tac, tabasco sauce (travel sizes), travel cup
C - clock, camping supplies
S - screw driver, silk undies (he he), socks, slippers

Not as complete as the other gals lists, but here goes.
women
D - drawer liners - the pretty scented ones
L - linen napkins - maybe embroidered?
S - shampoo - extra luxurious kind
men
B - breakfast basket - filled with jellies, etc

I love this! Wish I had found it sooner but may have to try something next year like this.
You ladies have the best ideas. What about for a K female? This could be a great thing to do with kids too and it teaches them a bit of fun while not all about the "merchandise" of the holiday.
