Have and will keep posting photos of our long week-end near Maggie Valley. Check my blog if you want to take a little trip to North Carolina via the good ole computer!

Happy to be a "Raggedy Ann" in a Barbie World!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Absolutely love the pictures. Traveling to the mountains and visiting Tallulah Falls is just a preview of the wonderful journey you travel on old US 441 to the mountains. Haven't been there in a couple of years, hope to visit there next year. It certainly makes me homesick for the mountains. Please keep the beautifuls pictures coming on your blog. Thank you!

Jeannie, these pictures are wonderful. I love going to the mountains and your picture with the smoke rising just made me all comfortable. I hope that you had a nice visit.

Thats why I like calling North Carolina home! I live in the piedmont near Charlotte but we own a small piece of a mountain near Morganton where we hope to build a cabin and retire.
It is beautiful here especially in the fall.

I live in Asheville and one of the perks of working nights is the amazing sunrises and daybreaks I get to see on my drive home - especially the fog or "mists" hanging low in the mountains, the rime ice and snow on the higher mountains. What a way to "end" my day.

You made me homesick. I grew up outside of Knoxville, TN all the way through college and early marriage and my parents still live at Walland, TN. How I miss those mountains. The pictures just hurt!!! But I love Oklahoma too (I was actually born here) and have learned that every place on earth has its own beauty. Thanks for sharing!!
