I loved "Handle with Care" and "My Sister's Keeper"--gotta get the movie for Sister's Keeper one of these days.
Picoult is an amazing writer with a knack for drawing her readers right into the center of the story and removing all bias...as a reader you can empathize with every character. I always get such a complete view of the story from all perspectives.
I love a good writer!

They are all great...but I'll have to say My Sister's Keeper also. She is an amazing author...can't put the book down once I start reading them.

I loved My Sisters Keeper...but House Rules was so depressing that I didn't even finish it.

I liked Plain Truth as I love Amish stories. Have any of you met her? I Have twice as she was in Iowa City once at a reading and in Barnes and Noble in Cedar Rapids at a Book signing. She is one of my favorite authors.

I have to say, that My Sister's Keeper is my favorite. I haven't read Plain Truth, but it sounds good. I have read many, but not all of her books. MaggieMB |

"House Rules" is my favorite. Mainly because I can relate to the mother's situation of a child with autism. It was kind of a hard read for me in the sense that it "hit home" too often, but other than that, a very good read. I would highly recommend it.

My sister's keeper is a wonderful book. The movie, of course, didn't even compare. The movies never do the books justice!

I just finished House Rules as well and loved it. I have a son with Aspergers as well, although not as severe as the boy in the story. So many things hit home. Great story.
