Oh Karrieann, I'm so, so sorry to hear this. I was devastated when my grandfather passed away, You have my deepest sympathy *hug* May you have peace and solace and may God's love surround you in this time of grief.

Karrieann, I'm so sorry to hear about your Grandpa passing on. I was very close to my grandpa, too. I have some of his poems that I cherish. Perhaps there's a photo or book or something that you both shared that you can hold close to you as a way of holding your grandpa close to you now. (((hugs & comfort)))

Karrieann,
How wonderful that you had your incredible grandfather past the age of 92. I'm betting he brought joy to many lives over those years. Remember the good times and know that he may have been ready to go now. As hard as it is to let go of those wonderful people in our lives, we need to know that life is fleeting and to have him remain in pain or infirmity could have been so hard on him. Prayers are with you and your family. Remember to see him in the joys in your life; yourself, his other descendents and the great times you have shared over the years.

Karrieann, I am so sorry to hear of your dear Grandpa's passing. It is so hard to bear when you love someone so much. My thoughts and prayers are with you. He may be gone from this earth honey, but he is alive and well in your heart. Just close your eyes and listen, he will be there.

So sorry, Karrieanne...having just gone through this with my husband and his family, losing a grandpa is a very difficult thing. Especially around the holidays. I am thinking of you and your family at this very sad time.
