Does anyone drink passionflower tea for the calming effect? I just got a box and was going to try it tonight. I wonder if I can drink it after drinking chammomile? Anyone have any experience?

Hello highlandviewpantry, Yes, I drink both of them together all the time, I also add Lavender when I have had a tough day... helps to unwind, relax, & to sleep better for me. Hope it helps.... |

I just finished reading about passionflower....I heard it was great for the article I read...I was going to go to get some this weekend and see how it works. I am tired of not getting good sleep. And I have been using all kinds of OTC meds for sleep...I want more natural sleep aids. Deborah

Valerian & Skullcap are also great for unwinding and getting to sleep. Valerian has a very "distinct" smell of old socks :)..but you can get tinctures and just put a few drops in a warm glass of water about an hour before bedtime. You can get the mix as a tincture in many health food stores, but I suggest buying them separately and mixing them yourself. I make my own tinctures now, my kids call it "Sleep Vodka", and so it is :).

I make a lovely PEACE TEA. It contains Passion Flower, Chammomile, Lavender, Rose Petals & a few other herbs. You will be to sleep with in 10 min of drinking it. Passion flower is a very calming herb and does help relax you.
I second the tinctures. Sometimes a tea is nice but other times I just add a full dropper or two into a shot of juice.
