Sis and I winterized the motorhome yesterday. It took about 2 hours but we did it!!!
Lots of men told us we couldn't do it without help from them or "professionals".
BLEAH
I think there's a conspiracy out there so you hire and pay someone to do a job that can be easily done if one just takes the time.
Sooo, it was easy, peasy, just time consuming and we put the old girl to sleep for the winter.
Now we're thinking up new adventures for next season

hey "Twin"...I hear ya,,,and for all the "helpful guys" who tell women they can't...it's cuz the 'boys' don't want us to find out that we can! lol!
Thank goodness my hubby is of the mind set..."challenge yourself"
We managed to squeeze #3 into the ManCave, and I do mean squeeze! but we moved some stuff around and now have the snow plow up front for snow....and we can access #3 to do some more work on her...thank goodness we aren't shut down for the Winter..and they say it's gonna be another doozie! oh Joy!

I am about to head out to winterize my little Motorhome. BY MYSELF. We'll see how far I get before I have to come in and call for some help. I'll let you know how I got along (or not).

ok, so this topic was 1st posted in Oct...now here it is March and it's time to bring our trailers & motorhomes outta hybenation.....and I am soooo ready...
In fact i think it's time for me to call kpaints to remind her to get her's out & ready for our Glamping trip in June...

Hello, I am a new farmgirl from AZ. If I may ask, what is a "Glamping" trip? Sounds exciting! I love to camp! And now we have a dog, so we will see how that goes. :) Have fun!

Glamping is Glamour-Camping.....unlike the men folk, we gals like to "nest" and we do it so well....

Thanks! I will check it out! I don't have a trailor, but I often go tent camping. We have a tent I think the space shuttle might fit it in. :) so I agree with the nesting theory! I pack mostly bedding! :) Thanks again!

Sad to see the season end. We had professionals do ours, we needed work done to it as well. Replaced a power grid thingy.
