My son goes to school in Rochester, New York. Every fall, I accompany him on the drive back to school. We make it a road trip, and take some time to visit places along the way. This year, we drove straight to NY, and then took a weekend trip to Vermont. What lovely country.

My son is very patient with my need to stop at every junk and antique store we passed. It was in a small Vermont village that I picked up the vintage tablecloth I used in this apron. The reverse side is made from fabric I also picked up in Vermont at a quilt shop that was in an old church. The pocket is a vintage armchair doily I bought at a San Antonio flea market.

These reversible aprons are great because you use one side to cook in (and catch spills), then flip it around to present a wholesome meal.

The price for this apron is $38. You can contact me through this forum if you are interested, or purchase it through my Etsy store at

If you check it out on Monday, I will let you know how my apple cider donuts came out that I am making on Sunday (including recipe). I discovered them in Vermont, and have been dying to try them out.

Happy to be a "Raggedy Ann" in a Barbie World!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
