Yes I am playing christmas music. We have our first blizzard of the season. Started with rain Monday night, than we received the 50-70 mph winds and the snow. Visability is not very good out there. Most schools are cancelled for the day. I sure hope this isn't a sign of what the winter will be. I have a fire lit and I am going to work on christmas gifts, might as well make use of a house day. Stay warm my farm girl friends.

God bless you, Julie! Snow already! We have had first snowfall many times here on Halloween, but never a blizzard that I can remember! Wow! I hope you have a good cup of cocoa and your snowman-building mittens ready! I'm really actually kind of excited for you - your news made the Christmas in my heart leap! You stay warm, too! Bless your heart - snow already. It has been unusually bitterly cold for this time of year in CT. No snow...yet. But like your spirit! Sounds like you are warm, cozy and happy. :)

We don't have your snow yet (although it did snow a little halloween) but boy do we have a nasty day/night/day/night! Rain, rain, more rain. Winds 35 - 50+ and with the astronomical high tide and this weather, half of our town was flooded for most of the morning! However, I'd rather have the rain then the snow for now, just not quite ready for that!
