Anyone know of a good non-electric push sweeper that works. I have two dogs and lots of dirt gets tracked in. I have seen some that couldn't pick up anything but my Mom has one that is 50 years old and picks up everything. Do they still make one that can handle a real mess? Anyone know of one they really like?

I've got a Bissel Sweep Up that I won in a dog show raffle. I love it for the rugs. Picks up an amazing amount of hair, dirt, etc. But for the floors, I still love my swiffer with the home-crocheted pad. It picks up all the dirt and hair that the Bissel won't even touch. Between the two, I rarely bring out the electric sweeper.

The morning breeze has secrets to tell you. Do not go back to sleep.

I too have a Bissel that I use in our motor home. It does a pretty good job on the short nap carpeting in the MH.
