thanks,Deb!
I love the terrarium. I have used them for most of the other things except the chandelier. That is really a great idea!

O, a trouble's a ton or a trouble's an ounce,
Or a trouble is what you make it!
And it isn't the fact that you're hurt that counts,
But only--how did you take it?

I made lanterns with long lasting soy candles. Wrapped some wire around the top and made handles, hung them from trees all the way down our back path to the firepit. It's really nice when we have parties. Remember to bring them in before the ice storm, though ;)

Super cute. I like the sewing kit idea for gifts. I will have to empty some food out of my jars and make some for Christmas!

Do what you love, love what you do.

Thanks for sharing! These are some great ideas. We use mason jars for storing all our pastas and various crafty things. I'd love to start making candles in them.

They don't have lids - if that makes a difference.

What adorable ideas for all those canning jars I have! Thanks so much for sharing, I love the idea of repurposing every day stuff.

Also, if it's the 'blue' you like on the blue mason jars - why not paint the lids to make them look like what you want? Spray paint them to match your decor, etc. Just an idea.

Thanks again!

I made a pennant light with 5 jars hanging at slightly different levels and I think it's just about the bee's knees. But I'm a bit biased. ;o)

Thanks

I got these from Amazon. A set of the wide mouth & regular. I love them & I have been using my jars for nearly everything now. I need to order some more!

I know I will find a few jars on the winterfair today. I saw them yesterday eve during choir practice....I might buy a couple...LOVE them, they are so versatile. The ones we have here are different, no zink lids but glass ones. But still very useful.

Just checked the site and adore the chandelier!!

Lisa, Thanks...I think these are the ones that I saw on here before. Did you post a picture here before with milk in the jars? I have gallon size jars. Do you know if they come in that size...???
Thanks

I LOVE jars! I have 2 on my desk right now. One has my pens/pencils and rulers, and the other has rubber bands. I loved everything on that link. Too cute! Oh and for Christmas I'll be giving homemade taco seasoning away in pint or half pint jars. For about 50 cents a jar they are really affordable to give away...and use!

Thanks for the link!

I use mason jars for just about everything. You can purchase those white lids that make the jars easier to use. For: honey, ground flax seed, coconut oil, fruits and nuts, sewing supplies, love notes to my hubbie ... the ideas are endless.
