Very Nice, Nancy Jo! I need to remember to do something like that with Nora this year. I think she would really like it and it's definitly something she could help with!

Nancy, that reminds me---many years ago, I gathered a very colored assortment of fallen leaves and mailed them in a big box to a friend who moved to Texas from Pennsylvania. She always claimed that it was one of the best presents that she ever received, and decorated her place with them until thel literally fell apart.

It wasn't a completely original idea. I once heard Leo Buscaglia talk about having a pile of leaves in his house to play in. My friend is an artist, and it was her first fall away from the east coast. It doesn't cost much to send a box of leaves--it's mostly air.

Beautiful NancyJo - as are all the lovely things you share.

Hi Rosemary - I loved your story about mailing leaves. As a fellow PA farmgirl, I'm looking forward to the fall display.

Blessings, staci FG# 973
