Yup, it is 4.30 in the middle of the night and am wide awake. I slept good but had a strange dream/nightmare that woke me up It was SO silly and also scary so I thought better to get out of bed, make a nice hot chocolate and see what's going on here. The nightmare was too silly, it was about a bomb I crocheted !! Lol I have been doing crochet all eve, and guess that triggered it. But a crochet BOMB??? What the......

Did you ever had such strange and still scary dreams/nightmares that woke you up and you just HAD to get out of bed to make it go away???

I am slowly "forgetting" about mine PTL I just remember it was about a bomb I crocheted, but I was scared it would go off so I decided to take MY crocheted part out of it. The gals I made it with did know it was me and they tried to get me back. I was in a changing room (????) in a big shopping mall, changing clothes etc....walked outside ahead of my "friends" and was asked by the police to identify a car (what that car had to do with it I have NO idea lol)
Reading back it is just "funny" but I do remember when I woke up I was scared as a baby

Sorry to hear you had a bad dream....It will be okay Dutchy-Hot chocolate sure sounds good right now. It is almost 10:00 here in the UP of Michigan and there is a terrific wind coming off the bay. I can hear it from my upstairs window. Kinda cold too!

I hope you can try to get back to sleep after a while otherwise, it will make for a very long day!

Take care dear heart!

To see crochet in your dream, indicates that you will find yourself entangled in some situation

To dream that you are crocheting, symbolizes your creativity and artistic abilities.

Marian--I sometimes have weird, scary dreams too. But I've never heard of a crocheted bomb. I wonder what would have happened if it had gone off? Yarn everywhere. Maybe you're seeking change in your life (the dressing room) and are worried about it. Just my thoughts.

LOL I too have no idea what would have happened IF the bomb went off, maybe indeed yarn everywhere

In "real life" I am making this little vest. It is cute and easy. I am making it in pink with white mohair yarn and I really like it.

I hope you get a few hours of peaceful sleep before you get up for the day. I've had some bad dreams too and they can really shake me up. Even when I can't remember what they were about.

Your vest looks beautiful, nothing scary there!

I know exactly what you mean, Dutchy! I dream very vividly. Sometimes I wake up and can't figure out what was dream and what was reality unless I really concentrate. I used to get mad at my sisters for things I dreamed they said/did to me at night when I was in middle school/high school.

I hope you dream good dreams from now on thought!

Good morning Marian. I've been having trouble sleeping in lately. Been waking up around 5:30 and can't go back to sleep. Some one told me it was because I am aging. I wonder if that is true. Also my sinuses clog up when I lay down for to long. I went to the doctor and he gave me a nose spray to use. But I hate using it every night.

I hate to chuckle, but how funny (the crochet part, not the bomb part). I know for you it was scary at the time and it seems like you are now laughing about it. Too funny how are dreams can be so odd. I too dream vivid and remember a lot of mine when I wake. I hate the scary ones and will have to try your hot chocolate therapy! I like that idea. I find that when I am concentrating real hard on one project like you were with crocheting that ends up in my dreams. With intense work, I end up dreaming about everyone in my group before the deployment is over. I hope you have a peaceful rest this evening.

Laurie, I am laughing about it too...now . Just imagine CROCHETING a bomb, how foolish can it get haha. It was scary when I woke up, but later....I told my friend and she laughingly told me: maybe you were crocheting it with "live wire" LOL!!!!

Yes I did sleep well afterwards, now crocheting again YIKES Hopefully no more silly dreams tonight

What a wonderful world it would be if bombs were crocheted! The worst that could happen would be having to unravel a whole lot of yarn! What does a crocheted bomb look like? Does it look like a bomb or is it disguised as an afghan?

I change my pillows every year! I don't buy expensive ones but I just need a new one every year because it becomes too thin, and "dirty" , well you know what I mean by "dirty". It is not REALLY dirty ofcourse duh! But it just doesn't feel clean anymore :)

Marian--the vest is too cute. I really like the way it hangs in the photo. You'll have to post pictures when you finish.

Marian, funny you should mention night= mares. Years ago my husband and I were transferred to Den Helder I don't know if you know where that is or not. But a few days after we arrived in Den Helder my husband had to go to Germany for a couple of weeks. Every night while he was away I had the same dream of WWII and the guns firing over the water. Then New Years arrived and they actually fired huge cannons over the water. I have never forgotten that dream of the cannons firing over the water while I was alone 7 1/2 months pregnant 21 years old in a country where I knew no one. That is one of my most vivid memories of living in the Netherlands. Living there was a wonderful experience I will always treasure but that dream is still with me.
