Wednesday I went to the dr's for a follow-up on broncitis. I was still tired but better she asked me if I had any other problems and I said I had a lot of eye floaters in my left eye and it was a little cloudy. She looked and made me an appt. for a different dr. a few miles away. She said find a driver for the appt. The next day my neighbor drove me to the dr's, about an hour later the dr said I want you to go to see another dr. a retina eye dr. and that dr made the appt for me and one hour later I was at a different dr's office. I thought I hope I don't get sent anywhere else.

That dr told his assistanat to set me up for surgery. I thought OK now I have to be scared. Go to the hospital, get needles YUCK. Instead they took me into another room and told me they were going to laser the tear in my eye and it would only feel a little uncomfortable. It took only a few minutes and I was done. No pain No bandaids No needles!!!! Today my eye is slowly clearing up.

The dr. checked my other eye and noticed a problem there and made an appt. for me to get that one lasered on Thursday. I'm not afraid of what is comming. I am just so thank-ful that I live in a time when they can fix it and with out pain. Isn't that cool???

I texted my husband yesterday with the message surgery went well. He called and asked what are you talking about so I told him. He said just to rest and he would pick up a pizza for dinner. I hope he does the same on Thursday.

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.

It is good to hear that you got your eyes taken care of. It is marvelous what they can do with the new technology, especially on your eyes.

Like sherrye posted, how neat that it was so quick and simple after all the different doctors. And isn't it neat when our husbands surprize us with pizza?!!!

I too am so glad your eyes are okay ; and that the doctor noticed it.
We can't be to careful about our eyes.
Mom is 80 had to have a catarack removed about a month ago
was worried about her ;but she said it wasn't painful and no big deal.
it is amazing what they can do with our eyes. hugs sheila
