Is anyone else reading or have read "Captivating"? I haven't started it yet. I just bought the book and the study guide today.

I read it a few years ago. Very moving. It's a very "outside the box" book, compared to alot of Christian womens' writings.

I found out about this book through this thread. I purchased it yesterday and I'm so glad I did. I wish I would have bought the companion journal as well. I feel like this is a book I really need. Just like so many, my life is less than perfect and hasn't worked out as planned. And I have a couple life altering questions I need to find the answers to and so far the book has reminded me of how truly important I am. We all are.
I also, bought Breaking Free by Beth Moore. I haven't started it yet, but am looking forward to reading it.

Today is a great cool Fall day in Missouri to curl up and read, of course the Chiefs are on in the background.

I finished the book. It was very good and made me think alot. It is a bit "out of the box".

The disc and discussions at church in the ladies group are very good too.

I think it will be helpful for me.

I was invited to a study on this book at a friends church. I've had the book on my shelf for some time now. Maybe I'll join her next week.
