Kelly...Are you in Whitefish? Brrrrr! Sounds cold already! I moved from Spokane to the Portland/Vancouver area about 25 years ago to get away from snow and cold weather. Having been raised in Montana and Eastern WA all my life I had about as much cold temps as I ever wanted to feel again! Call me a wimp...but I like where I live now...because if I want snow I can go to Mt. Hood, if I want the Beach I can go to Oregon or WA Beaches and everything is just a couple hours away. We don't get real cold weather except maybe one or two weeks each winter and we might see snow then too. So, we have 4 distinct seasons but they are each mild.

Peg...I'm in Kalispell...a little futher south than Whitefish. I actually know where Battle Ground is. My aunt and uncle have lived in Hazeldell (near Vancouver) for over 30 years.

Kelly...and I am very familiar with Kalispell too! That is so cool! Hazeldell is actually now part
of Vancouver. And I use to live right over in that general area and my youngest son lives over by
there now. My SIL & BIL lives there and they have been int he same house for about 35 years. It's a
