Update see page 2 & 3![/size=3]Hey Farmgirls that sell a product. I run the Sunshine Farmgirl Co-op for those of you who are new to the forum. It has been in existence now for over a year and going strong. I've been working hard to find us free advertising to get more traffic and sales to our shops.
Well, I teamed up with our brilliant farmgirl Joanna who is going to build us a website that will house all the members shops for a ridiculously low price. Here is just a brief overview. If you are interested get back to me via email according to the instructions below.
[size=3]Free webpage for the month of November for all that sign up by Wednesday, Oct 15th and have your info turned in by Oct. 18th.

$5.00 monthly fee, payment is due the first of each month and will be invoiced through PayPal.
It will be a month by month membership, so if someone wants out for a given month, they simply need to let me know.
The banner on the front page, I will have more information on the cost, how many we can do etc later in the day.
All members will be listed in the directory, more information on this later. . . only paid members will have a direct links.

All can join in this the more places you advertise the better it will be for your business. And, you can't beat these prices.
So come on Farmgirl's couldn't you use more money in your pocket with more sales the rest of the year and into next. We will have so many great activities each month to bring people to our website again and again. They'll want to come back to get in on the great contests and deals we will offer.

One of the farmgirls said something I thought was worth passing along to the rest of you.
She said she was going to start making more things to add to her shop each month since our website will drive more traffic to your shops, blogs, etc...
I have been working on my greeting card collection for my etsy shop. My goal was to add a card a day through the end of the year. And, next year do the same with my tote bags and altered books.
Each month I'm going to work on a different category and add one new item everyday. The more new stuff you put up the more return traffic you will get.

Just wanted to update you that the rough draft is started for the website and I'm likin it already even in it's infancy. This is gonna be so cool. You will be amazed at what we will do.
I'm hoping I can talk MaryJane into doing a story on us in one of her upcoming magazines. Hint, hint!! lol
I have a radio station interested in us and as soon as they get the packet of info. to me and they review it, we will have a spot. How cool is that!!!

Marsha, I have really been busy the last 6 months or so. Personal issues that have been resolved (and a few still here), work, and I am mid way into a master herbalist course.
My websites are company generated and my own personal website and two blogs. If I can sell from them I would try your site out. If I do not sell I will have to stop. I have cut all unproductive expenses. I am interested in what you are putting together.

We are up to 22 signed up as of last night. Yeah!!!
I wanted to put a bee in your bonnet, if any of you have family members husbands, in-laws that are self-employed send them over to Joanna to get promoting ideas and a website if they need one.
She is building one for my bil and dh business. You can't beat her prices and expertise. She has come up with so many great ideas already for them as well as for mine.
So email her and get noticed and make some money too!!!

Update, see page 2!
We made it to 25 today! Yeah! I'll let you in on a secret, I'll let you squeeze in on the free month if you email me by Friday the 17th! hehe!!!
And, my etsy team is going to join me so once they start signing up we should reach 50 with no problem and maybe reach my goal of 100 by Oct. 1st. Yippee!!!!
I had a woman call me to order Watkins and I told her about my site and some of her friends make stuff and didn't know about how to sell online so I told her about etsy and my website. How cool is that? So more are coming from all my networking efforts!
Hope you gals are doing the same thing with any you know that make stuff and don't know where to sell it.
I going to have a mother/daughter day tomorrow so I will check in the a.m. and won't be on again until evening again. But, you can email with any questions and I'll get back to you on Friday.

Everyone who signs up by October 15th will get a free month so you won't have to pay until December 1st for your page. You have to have your info. turned in by October 18th to get your free month.
Our advertising budget will begin in January 2011 at a minimual cost per member every two months to be in a national magazine.
