I have been very busy and M.I.A. Looking forward to the fall weather. It was beautiful here today, a gorgeous day. My heart is heavy for a dear friend who lost her daughter. She was missing and they finally found her. It was on Nancy Grace a couple times. Her name was Nina Keown, her ex-husband hasn't been charged yet but he finally led them to her body. She has two small children. It's a sad state that this old world is in. You didn't hear a lot of this going on when I was younger, especially not in small rural areas like ours.
I'm planning on picking apples tomorrow and freezing them. I always loved to help my grandma when I was young. We were always canning and freezing some sort of harvest. Especially strawberries, greenbeans, apples and sourkraut. I love sourkraut! One of my favorites. What is happening in everyone else's kitchen!

Welocme back, Mikki. It is a nice day here today, sunny and not too cold. Will be Tuesday though, then we will have rain again yuck. But for now, the weather is good :)

Welcome Back Mikki Jo. I am so sorry to hear abuot your friends loss. I will pray for you and for her family that you all find the strength you need to make it throuhg the difficult road ahead. I will pray especially for her two small children.

Thanks so much girls, I love you all. We had some wonderful weather here for a couple days and today was very hot and humid again. Loved it while it lasted tho! I'm hoping to put away some apples soon, if I have room in my freezer that is.
