Yes, I struck gold! I found a copy of the Rodale cookbook originally published in 1973. It's chock full of delicious, nutritious recipes that don't require exotic ingredients that you have to drive fifty miles to find. There's a whole section on bread recipes and I've even been finding recipes that were tucked away inside it by the previous owner. It should keep me busy this winter when it snows and I'm stuck inside and going stir crazy. I also found a copy of The Story of Edgar Sawtelle for a very low price. I'm scheduled to have surgery on my knee next week so now I'll have something to read while I'm recovering. Oh, and please say a prayer that I recover quickly so I can get back to work. Today is a good day.

Cindy, I have that book too. I love it. I use the mayo recipe all the time. I sure hope your surgery goes well and you will be in much better shape rea soon. I will be praying for you too. What day will it be?

Kris--the surgery is scheduled for Tuesday morning. It's a relatively simple procedure so I should be in and out the same day. What are some of your favorite recipes from the cookbook?

Cindy,

Hope your surgery goes well. Thanks for the recommendation on the Rodale cookbook. Didn't know that Rodale had a cookbook, I'm going to keep my eye out for this one since all their other publications are so good. Judy
