Hey gals! So, first of all, thank you for all of your kind words to me as I was FOTM last month. I really appreciate the love and support I get from my sisters here :)
So, now it's my turn to announce the September 2010 Farmrgirl of the month! It's not an easy thing to choose when there are so many wonderful sisters here to pick from. But there are several sweet ladies that came to my mind when thinking about who deserves this months honor. They all are very encouraging women and they bring so much to this forum I wish we could have more than one at a time, but I know they will all get their turns to be FOTM soon enough as their farmgirl hearts are all so big and full of love and it shows. So, in order to narrow it down to one, I decided to pick the farmgirl who had the highest post count and I can't believe, with as many posts as she has (obviously being here a lot longer than me) and with the sweet woman she is that she hasn't already been FOTM. So, without further ado, this month's celebrated farmgirl is.....drumroll please....................

This is so well deserved...I'm new around here and Kris has been so very welcoming and encouraging to me. In fact, at lunch today when I went off for my walk, I actually told my DH that I didn't want to disappoint Kris! LOL - Kris, enjoy your month in the spotlight for you are a beacon of light to us all. Now we just have to teach you to crochet!

Oh my goodness! I just got home and ran around getting turkeys to bed and feeding dogs and cats and chickens. Then had to get my clothes in off the line before they got all wet again from the dew. And I sat down to see how all my farmgirl friends are and saw this post. So I looked to see who Siobhan picked for Sept. And saw my name at the very end! I am in tears. You are so sweet Siobhan. I am amazed. And then to read all the sweet posts from all you sweet friends. I am amazed again.
Thank you so much for this honor. I really don't deserve it. There sre so many others that do. And I don't know what to think about having the most posts. Hmm... I'll have to think on that one. But really, thanks so much. And I will try oh so much harder now to be a good September FOTM.

Ya'll are just too sweet now. Thank you. I just love you all. I do hope one day I can meet all of you. I have met Ruth and believe me, she is a very wonderful lady as I am sure every one of you are. Well, I know you all are. I have been here long enough to know alot of you and I am proud to say I am a part of such a great place. I feel like you're all family. I can come here and talk about so much and not feel stupid or mushy or whatever. Ya'll are great. Thank you.
