i tried uploading pics again tonite-this computer isn't that old but a small laptop--maybe not enough power??? i have a pretty good internet connection here---i could do it on my desktop but i have to get the photos off the camera a diff way--this was easier to just put the scancard into the side of the laptop! or-it could be the MJF site!
anyhow...good to see clear pics ...as for oggie; kids will play!!!! thanx for being there to protect sara!!!!

aww, I haven't a clue what I will do now I suppose it depends on what it going on around here. I think school will almost be her or our state fair. That sounds great I think if she comes around the beginning of Sept I will take her to the state fair.
I want there to be no peasant in my kingdom so poor that he cannot have a chicken in his pot every Sunday.

Hay ya'll, So sorry for my absence in the last several months. We had the wedding, I finally got the sewing machine fixed, taxes are moving along and the cattle sale has come and gone, calves are still being born and the hay has to be cut yet. I am exhausted and I have been a really "sorry" sister to you all. I have to send out a ton of apologies. I have emptied thousand of emails coz I haven't checked in in so long they piled up and with so many I just had to delete. I looked in on Sara and found that I am after Ginny. I am so excited to have her visit. Jackie Faye, Bettye Sue and Mary Ruth are also looking forward to her visit. Well, I have to close from this forum and move to another one. I have to grovel for forgiveness from my sisters. I only hope I don't miss anyone.

Happy July 6th!!!
Sorry, I am a few days late for the 4th.
Been busy with two other swaps. (on a different site) I am in a Christmas in July swap and a Doll quilt swap. Almost done with both.
So how is Sara? Is she traveling?

Hay Ya'll I am still waiting. All of her new farmgirl friends are waiting too. They keep STARING at me as if to say "Any day now.......Where is our new farmgirl friend you promised us to play with?" Little Jackie Faye has so much to share and Bettye Sue is so sweet. I just know everyone will get along just famously! I can't wait to teach Sara how to drive the big JANE DEERE......I don't think she will like swimming in the pool or the lake but maybe a boat ride.....Oh I can't wait...Maybe she will arrive tomorrow, maybe... Its like Christmas, you know, when you can't sleep but you know that sleeping makes tomorrow come. So, good night and God Bless. Hay Ya'll
Well, bless my soul! Its Sara at my door in the arms of the mail-lady. I was guessing that today would be the day of her arrival....there are so many cute outfits and other items in her bag. I have read all the posts and checked out all the photos. Her friends are due back soon to meet her and play. Tonight we go to a school meeting and Saturday morning we work on fences til it gets too hot and then meet the new sewing group for the afternoon. Dinner with the TWISTED SISTERS (my family and friends who get together often for camping and all things fun).I didn't mention Friday coz I have to work. Sunday she will help load the bulls (their honeymoon if over!!) Its time for them to go back to Mississippi. But someone else is hauling them home for me!!
It sure is hot here, down south -- I hope she is a tuff Farmgirl coz theres work to be done and its outside alot. Well, we have to finish grooming dogs now but I'll post more later.

Hay Ya'll, Just a note to say that Sara is having a blast in the Heart of Dixie. She had tea and cookies with Jackie Faye , Bettye Sue and Mary Ruth just yesterday and they all put their heads together and came up with Sara a middle name. In the South - everyone has a "good ole southern double name" and Mz Sara choose Belle so Sara Belle is doing fine. She went with me to the orientation for DS senior year and also meet my Twisted Sisters (she went to dinner with us). She went to check on the cows and LOVES them!!! We check them daily and she hasn't missed a one. She also went to Hope Sewing (my new found group) and we made her another apron, with horses, of course. And also a pillow case but Sara Belle is using it as a sleeping bag. She wants to go glamping with someone soon. Well, I will post photos soon....We are very busy this week....on Wednesday night we have a Moms-Who-Need-Wine meeting/webinar. She will enjoy that and some other activities as well. I included a photo album for her when she was at our home so her future hostess's could see where she has been and add photo's if they like.
I love the name too! She needed a middle name. And I guess we should figure out how to spell her first name as I was spelling it Sarah while others spell it Sara.

Her name is Sara. Sara with no h.
Too bad you couldn't post a few of the photos.
I was just thinking, she has been to many states. We should have put a small map so everyone could put a star on there state. Wouldn't that be something if she visited all the states in the US???

Kathy - The map idea is GREAT! Just make sure some small star stickers are included. If someone put it in, they could put the stars on for those who she has already visited. I think her photo album says Sarah, so sorry everyone. My daughter's best friend is Sarah which is why I just assumed it I guess.
