My name is Tina. I'm a farm girl at heart, I should have been born in a dirrerent era. I've been married to the same wonderful man for almost 30 years. We don't currently live on a farm, or even a house with a yard. We live in an apartment(for now, saving our money for the big move).
My husband and I have 2 grown children,(whom we homeschoolded)4 granddaughters, and 1 spoiled 8 year old cat. (He thinks he's human). I am currently a college senior, (which is Crazy at my age,I've been in college for the last 8 years). I like to read and read almost anything I can get my hands on.
We love the mountains and hope to move there before long, I enjoy cooking, canning, I love making bread. I enjoy working in the garden. I sew,(most of my grand daughters clothes). I'm a part time photographer and enjoy traveling when time and money permit. If it has anything to do with the home making skills I enjoy it.
So, I hope I have covered the high spots. I hope to find many friends here. |

Welcome, Tina! You will definitely fit in here! You sure do sound like a farmgirl at heart (like I am!) I don't live on a farm, I hope to someday! But right now I just live in a little house with a small yard. I just joined here, but I've already found lots of inspiration and ideas! You're really going to like it.

Hi Tina, I too am a farmgirl at heart. I live Wisconsin in the middle of a city with my husband of 35 years. I graduated from college 4 years a go with an education degree, I am currently teaching Learning disabled students at an elementary school in Kenosha. So kudos to you for going back to get your degree. So what will you be when you grow up? Karen O.

Hey Tina. A big ole Ga. welcome coming your way. So where is Saraland, Al? I am right on the other side of Lookout Mt. near Chattanooga.

Saraland is just north of Mobile, about 15 miles. Kris we lived just north of Savannah for 10 years. The area you live in is beautiful. We want to move to the mountains of North Ga, we make a trip about 3 or 4 times a year and look for property each time we are there. We loved Ga. and left a lot of good friends there. When I grow up I want to be a nurse. Maybe it won't take much longer, I'm almost there. I know my hubby will be glad when I finish. |
