Thought I would post a few more entries from Emma's Diary. These were entries toward the end of her life.1930's. Funny thing in both diaries that I have she never once mentions the depression. I guess it didn't affect them that much.

Thanks so much for sharing this. I am such a history nut. I love things like this, especially when you know the person personally. What a treasure she left you.
