A week from today, my friend Kim & I will be heading for Breckenridge, Colorado, to spend the weekend working on the Continental Divide Trail... we'll be doing some trail maintenance, correcting erosion, that sort of thing, & will be camping & working at 10,500 feet above sea level... as you might suspect, we're pretty excited about doing it...

There are still some projects left to participate in this year, so go to http://www.cdtrail.org/page.php to see them... if you can't make it this year, consider joining a project next year...

LeslieAnn, Have a wonderful time in Colorado. I know your working but take some time to enjoy some of our high mountain views and air!

I belong to a Jeep club and we annually do a lot of trail work for all to enjoy. Thanks for the link.

Thanks, Heather... I plan to enjoy the whole trip!.. I've hiked a lot of trails in Colorado, but never worked on one before... this will be a new adventure...

A Jeep club sounds like a blast... I had a 1981 Renegade, bought it new, kept it for 14 years, then sold it some friends who "desperately" wanted it... they kept it less than a year, sold it, & made a big profit... I've been kicking myself ever since... one of these days I'll have another one...
