Does anyone know where to get natural, reasonably priced soap-making supplies? I tried our local craft store and they had the big blocks to melt down, but they had all those nasty ingredients in them like sodium laureth sulfate, etc. Yuck!

Renee, I am no expert, but I think that stuff is for melt and pour soap. That's all you do is melt it and add fragrance and pour into molds. Are you wanting to make lye soap? You'll need oils and fats and liquids. Have you ever made soap before? I had to take a lesson from a girl who's made soap for years. It really helped me alot to actually see it being done and to do it too. You can order lotsof soap making supplies on line. I have only ever ordered lye on line because no one sells it anymore because they make meth with it. And I just go to the store and get the oils and EO. I make molds out of things I have here at home.
