Dear farmgirls, I'm leaving this evening for a sudden trip out west, my Mom had a stroke a couple of weeks ago and isn't doing well at all, we think she is ready to go, so this maybe my last visit with her. Please keep us in your prayers for a safe journey and peaceful reunion. She's 82, has lived her life, and all we want is to make sure she can leave in peace and comfort. I'll be gone for a week but will try to check in from my sisters! Thank you all, your the greatest! Hugs!

sweetheart .. i remember when i was called suddenly home TEN months ago to say farewell to my own dear dad .. i was heartbroken .. and my sister, my brother and i did, indeed gather around his bed to kiss him goodbye. i know how sad your heart is right now .. and know that my prayers go heavenward for your dear mom, you and your family.

don't know if the angels are ready for your mom yet or not .. sometimes there is just another 'plan'. my own dear dad is indeed here on this earth to the amazement of everyone (including hospice .. who has had his day to day care for almost a year now) .. he will be 92 years old next week (june 3). sometimes god just has other plans .. but whatever the plans are .. know that you are loved. xo, frannie

Sue - My prayers are with you too. I hope that she feels and knows you are all there with her and that she is loved, and perhaps she will strengthen. We never know how these things will go, and I am glad you have traveled to her. No matter what, you will remember the time together.

Peace
