Boy do I feel silly-I've had a nice Janome for about 3 years now,and I've been too chicken to try getting fancy with it for fear I'd ruin it. Well yesterday I finally experimented with changing the feet and trying designer stitches. It was so easy I regretted not just reading the manual & trying sooner.
Sherrie, the things one can do are endless.....never be afraid to try, that's what seam rippers are for! lol! Have fun & post pics of some of your completed projects.

Michele, My Janome is a DC3018. They call it the Quilter Janome. It is good machine because it sews through all the layers in a quilt. I burned my first machine that was a cheap one from Walmart and never again. I did my homework and met a local lady who sells the Janome and could show me and help with my questions.
