Enchanting Makeovers is a wonderful charity that remodels shelters for women and children to make them cozy and more home like. They gift each woman and child with a new handmade pillowcase for them to use while they are in the shelter and then take with them when they leave. I'm organizing a pillowcase project and hope some Farmgirls want to get involved. Just make a cute pillowcase and ship it to me by sept 30. There is a free pattern at Allpeoplequilt.com if you don't sew. I can always use cute fabric. It takes about a yard for a pillowcase. hey Michele send me your addy...I can whip one up...I too like making them... What size? twin/dbl or queen/king? When I make them I usually make them in King and tell the recipiants if they want it to be double or Queen just flip them inside out & stitch the bottom end up to the size to fit. But since this is for a child,,,I am thinking Twin or Dbl. Ok, Tag...U-R-it....send me an addy.
