Took my granddaughter, Alyssa, on her first trip in our camper last weekend. Alyssa is disabled and we had to make accommodations for her wheelchair and other supplies. We only went a couple of hours away to a Jellystone. Not my choice but she absolutely loved it. She got to go all over the campground in her chair and got to meet yogi, who was very patient with her as she was pretty scared of him at the beginning. We sat around and sang and played game at night and looked at the constellations. She had a great time and is ready to go with me again for some REAL camping. Michele
Okay, sooooo, Alyssa had so much fun that we are taking her camping again. This time, just Alyssa, not her Mom. Can't wait. Great grandma, Grandma, Auntie and Alyssa. Mom and Dad can have a night out. Dont know how well my daughter will do with this idea. It's hugw step for her to leave Alyssa overnight. Michele
Michele, nature has a way of touching and helping everyone in some way doesn't it? That is so wonderful that Alyssa wants to go again. It will be a wonderful experience for all of you. It is especially nice that Mom and Dad will have a little time to themselves too. Maybe with her having gone and seeing how much Alyssa loved it she will relax and enjoy herself too! Have a great time! How nice is that all the grandmas and auntie too. You will all enjoy it so much!
