Sorry, I've never heard of a Tammy Doll. What is it?

Hi Dawn,
Tammy was introduced by Ideal in the 60's. Unlike Barbie doll, she did have a sister named Pepper and parents.
She was bigger boned, than tiny Barbie. Just look her up on ebay and you will see what she looks like.
I had one, but miss her!

Hi Jeannette!

I had the whole family - Tammy, Ted, Pepper, mom, dad and also I think there was a little brother - wasn't his name Pete? I hadn't thought of them in years!!!

Hi! I still have my Tammy doll. My sister has a huge collection of Tammys, lol. I loved Tammy more than Barbie. Always thought she was prettier. I still have one of the original "trunks" to keep the doll and clothes in, too.

Thanks for the info Jeanette. I looked her up on the web. She was a bit before my time, I was a Barbie gal.

I have my original Tammy doll and her carrying case that has the place to hang her spare clothes, her TV, glasses, etc. She is still as beautiful as she ever was and in perfect condition. I am giving her to my granddaughter who I know will love her as much as I have all these years. I have her royal blue wool type pleated skirt, sweater to go with it, black pants and pink blouse with ruffles. Her glasses are red with gold sparkles made inside the plastic.

Life is full of special surprises
