from my childhood. "Horsie keep your tail up Horsie keep your tail up keep the sun out of my eyes" That's all I remember. And the other one went like this: "Nine o'clock is striking, Mother may I go out? My beau is waiting in the garden, waiting for me to come out." If any one knows the rest, I'd like to be able to write them down. Thank you, Carol

Wow, Carol. My dad used to sing that horsie song to me, too. When I looked at Karrieann's link, I saw that Spike Jones had recorded the song at some time. That made sense to me. I remember Spike Jones having a tv show in the 1950's and dad listened to it. I thought Spike Jones and his band were so cool. :)
