That's all I remember. And the other one went like this:
"Nine o'clock is striking,
Mother may I go out?
My beau is waiting in the garden,
waiting for me to come out."

Wow, Carol. My dad used to sing that horsie song to me, too. When I looked at Karrieann's link, I saw that Spike Jones had recorded the song at some time. That made sense to me. I remember Spike Jones having a tv show in the 1950's and dad listened to it. I thought Spike Jones and his band were so cool. :)
