Dutchy, Your bedroom is beautiful!! You did a great job and it looks wonderful. Aren't you proud of yourself? You should be.

Beautiful, all the photos. I like the bird cage that holds a teapot, Cute idea! And your real chandelier with...is it real candle holders? .....love that too!

The chandelier holds small tealights :) And the birdcage with the tea and coffee pot. The cage I got from my neighbor, it was collecting dust in her shed. I asked whether she did anything with it, she said no and gave it to me. The tea and coffeepot belonged to my grandmomma, and she gave it to me oh, I guess in the 1970's (she passed away in '75 so before that) I have always loved it and liked the idea to make this vignette with it :)

Just beautiful!!! I love it and you've inspired me to start my thrifty shopping for my daughters room:) She's heading off to college and her room is BRIGHT bubble gum pink right now! I told her I'm going to "re-do" her room into her college girl shabby chic room. You've given me wonderful ideas...I'm now on the lookout for things with pink roses...thrifting, I'm positive will take the edge off of my little girl leaving the nest:)

THANKX Y'ALL! I talked to my brother yesterday and he IS going to send me the curtain fabric asap. It is quite heavy and also quite expensive to send (duh). So he had to wait a while, but it will come soon he told me ....then I can start making the curtains  The room needs a few tiny details and then it is finished YAY!!
