Are there aany other loom knitters out there? I started using looms when I had my daughter because it was easier to put it down an dpick it back up again. Sometimes I miss using needles, but using looms is quite addicting!

I do a knit cap on a loom now and then..like you said..easy to put down and pick up. My 13 year old daughter loves loom knitting and learned when she was 7 or so. I still do alot of needle knitting too..but now and then it is fun and quick and I like how the caps look for guys or newborns.

I loom knit. A secret pal gave me a set if round looms one time. Now I have some long ones, also.
I have made hats and scarves. I, also, made some fingerless gloves once. I have a few books with patterns.

I have a set and set for mittens (haven't tried them yet).
I'm more of a winter loom knitter, I take them to work and knit at lunch time.

I love Ravelrt. They have quite a bit of patterns, even for looms. I have a set of rounds, a set of longs, and a knitting board. I recently finished a sweater for my daughter. I love how it turned out. Kind of like a sweater coat.
