My daughter has a virus of some sort. So I have been up off and on all night. I can't sleep when she is sick. She is keeping ice chips and water down. Advil comes back. So she is in our bed watching movies. Hubby left to get her Ginger Ale and a surprize. So please pray for a hot little girl and a sleep deprived Mama. LOL

Thanks.

Amy, just remember fevers are a good thing when they are just under 102. It's fighting something. Sounds like you are doing the right thing by keeping her quiet and lots of liquids. I will pray she gets over this quickly and YOU get some sleep tonight. I cannot function after being up half the night so I know what it's like.

Hugs, Kris

It is so much a mom thing that we would want to be hit by the yuchs ourself rather than see our little ones uncomfortable. It is exhausting and hard emotionally. Take care of yourself and get what rest you can.
Prayers are on the way.

Her temp is back to normal. But she gave up her soup. So we are back to ice chips and Ginger Ale.

She told me that the train her Daddy got her at Walmart made her feel better. She is so sweet.

I slept for a while when she finally crashed. But now I don't feel really good.

So that is where we are.

Daddy got some stuff to settle her tummy. Her temp was 98.9 last night. She slept without waking. She is just kind of tired and worn out today. We got chicken rice soup, Pedi pop, and a few cans of Ginger Ale down her yesterday. She started the day with a Ginger Ale.

Me? I'm just tired. I have such a pile of laundry to do. I am asking for the laundry fairy. LOL

Thanks for all the prayers and thoughts.

Amy, so glad she is feeling better. The laundry will be there when you get to it. Take it easy so you don't get sick.

She is still getting a fever on and off. It was a whopping 103.7 last night. But came down fast with Advil. She sounds stuffy today. But she ate ramen noodles and kept them down. She said that she was hungry for spagetti. That is a good sign. I had to go out and run errands and brought her back an Icee. And some chicken nuggets. We'll see.

I am worn out and crabby.
