I would love to have a pen pal. It is fun to get to know someone from another part of the US.

I would love to be Deanna's pen pal Pam, I now live in Colorado and have for 15 years. But, I was born and raised in St. Louis Missouri. So if Deanna's wants me as her pen pal that would be great, I think it will be a lot of fun.

Hi Pam!

I would like to sign up for one pen pal please! I was just reading MaryJane's April/May issue yesterday, which mentions handwritten letters and I thought to myself Penpals! And then I saw this topic today! Kismet! Hope to hear from you soon!

Farmgirl hugs & kisses,
Kate

I have not heard from my pen pal since about April. I have, in that time, sent a post card and a letter. Has anyone else heard from their pen pal?

Hi everyone! I have been incredibly busy lately and haven't had a chance to update or write. I may have to turn this over to someone else who would like to host. Any takers?

Elizabeth, if you take the thread over I'd be interested in another one or two farmgirls to write to. It's such a treat getting a letter in the mail.

I have two penpals that both live in Ohio. Could I have a new penpal far, far, away from Ohio or Texas. Thanks.

Hi Everyone,
I have started hosting the swap and have started a new thread called Pen Pal Swap - New and Updated. Please post there with your requests for a pen pal. I have posted the new pen pals requested since April and will continue to updated on that thread. Come see us there! Here is the link for your convenience. www.maryjanesfarm.org/snitz/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=51602

I'm new too and would love to have a pen pal. When I was a kid I had a pen pal off the television show Big Blue Marble. She was from England. Three years ago I was in London and we got to meet for the first time. Other than one phone call (a birthday present when I was 12) the only form of communication has been letters. It is so cool. Letter writing is becoming a lost art.

I love reading, writing, baking, cooking, gardening, sewing (just learning), sports (especially football), photography, and music. My husband and I have hosted four high school exchange students in the last five years and are active volunteers with AFS.

I can't wait to meet and get to know someone new.
